this day the United States government approached the edge of a cliff. After too much drama, too much exasperating posturing and name calling, after far to much politics the elected representatives have decided to  get back to work
shame regret disgust disappointment disbelief but mostly I feel such sadness for the people who have been negatively effected, the lives disrupted, the waste of time and money and the damage to the noble dream that once was this nation
with a hope in the people, with a belief in ideals I post these beautiful symbols

 We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.(Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America)
