 On May 17, 2014 Noway celebrated the 200th anniversary of their constitution of their National Day.
   It was mid 1800's when many Norwegian immigrants came to the United States. Many of these settled in the Midwest..Among the settlers in Iowa were several folks that  i now refer to as my great grandparents.
   In 2012 this Iowa girl made her first trip to Norge and here are a very few of the photos. I begin by sharing pictures from the region family came from. These photos of picture-postcard scenes from the fjords of Hordaland on the western coast.
