water, it drips, it drops, it becomes droplets, drops fall, raindrops fall, snow drops in flakes, cold water freezes in drips that become icicles, water beads like glistening gems, water beats a path, carving rock, pushing and carrying dirt, creating streams and rivers and falls, water grows life, gives life and is essential to all life

Elements – Water

Water an elemental
Water a fundamental
Building block of life
Water of Life
Water of Death

Water in all religions
Water in all living things
Water in all countries
Water also used for barter

No life without water
No rife with water
No respect for water
Willful neglect of water

Water, for cooking
Water, for cleaning
Water, for drinking
Water, for living
Water, for dying

Water is the same
In all languages
Water is the same
To all living beings

Water

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The water understands
Civilization well;
It wets my foot, but prettily,
It chills my life, but wittily,
It is not disconcerted,
It is not broken-hearted:
Well used, it decketh joy,
Adorneth, doubleth joy:
Ill used, it will destroy,
In perfect time and measure
With a face of golden pleasure
Elegantly destroy.

Water

Water gushed over parched land
fractures are slowly filled left by drought

terrain humidified by cold water
pouring down replacing warmth
everything ice-covered

Water
set in ice form
fluffy and breathtaking
an impish sting to its beauty
arctic

my clothes are drenched
twirl around with outstretched arms
tears are forgotten

A network news-anchor this night referred to the relentless winter of 2014 before  showing awe inspiring video of ice caves  upon Lake Superior and aerial views of  the Great lakes   now almost entirely iced over. Stories fill the news of  ice coated deep south, unfamiliar depths of snow from New England to Japan, though the snow and ice are not holding up well at the Winter Olympics in Sochi and meanwhile the coast of England is battered and besotted and it seems it never does rain in southern California. A new winter storm is set to start this last full of February. The environment  each day acts more dramatically like ''Mother Nature''is very angry ( and why shouldn't she be?!?!?!)
but I do know this 'relentless' winter will finally relent and  there will come the season we call spring

These photos are all from the lovely month known as March. It may be all white out my window now but the  greening will come, have faith, and when it does appreciate it, cherish and each and every day do at least one thing to  let ''Mother Nature'' know she is loved and we want to care for this world
